When you arrive to your pre-booked appointment, we’ll start with a consultation to discuss the cut and style you’d like for your dog and any special health requirements. I’ll also evaluate your dog’s coat condition and provide a price quote.
Your dog will be with me for about 2 hours for the grooming process, which includes a bath, blow-dry, brushing, clipping, and styling. Once all done dogs will have safe space to relax while waiting for pick up, play, or just hang out—whatever helps them feel comfortable and keep them safe.
A Few Important Reminders:
PRICING EXPLAINED
Simply put, the bigger the dog, the longer the coat, or the more complexed the cut, the more time and skill it takes to groom. This means the price will be higher for larger dogs or those with longer coats and speciality cuts compared to smaller dogs with shorter coats or simpler trims.
Prices may also fluctuate with each visit, depending on your pet’s coat condition and the complexity of the groom.
Main Factors Affecting Price:
Please allow up to 2 hours for a full grooming session. Each dog is different, and grooming time can vary based on factors like size, coat condition, cut style, and temperament. Additional duties, such as reception and customer service, also impacts timing. You’ll receive a text in advance to let you know when your dog will be ready for pick-up.
A Few Important Reminders:
The frequency of grooming depends on your dog’s breed, coat type, and lifestyle. Generally, dogs should be groomed every 6-8 weeks to keep their coat healthy and manageable. Regular grooming helps prevent mats, tangles, and excessive shedding, and makes the process easier for both you and your dog. Some dogs, especially those with long or thick coats, may require more frequent grooming. If your dog has a shorter coat or is low-shedding, grooming every 8-12 weeks may be sufficient.
A consistent grooming schedule is the best way to maintain your dog’s coat and ensure a smooth grooming experience each time.
The first puppy grooming session is best between 12 to 16 weeks old, This age range is recommended because it's when puppies are more open to new experiences and they're typically up-to-date on their vaccinations, which reduces the risk of exposure to diseases.
Before that, start brushing and introducing basic grooming tools at home to help them get used to the process.
For the first professional grooming, keep it short and simple: a bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, and light trim. The goal is to make it a positive experience to avoid fear later.
Regular grooming frequency depends on your puppy's breed, but start with early, gentle sessions and gradually increase as needed.
