Meet Magda
I’m Magdalena, proud founder and groomer at M Dog Grooming Hastings. I’m one of the lucky ones who can say, my passion is what I do for a living.
I’ve been grooming professionally since 2019. I earned my certification in Australia, under the guidance of one of the top experts in the industry. I had the privilege of managing and working at award winning salons in Sydney and well established salons in New Zealand.
For me, grooming is all about the relationship between the groomer, the dog, and the owner. It’s a regular part of your dog’s life, so it should feel like a visit to a friend—where your dog feels safe, comfortable, cared for, and of course, leaves looking fabulous!
Outside the salon, I’m usually hanging out with my own dogs or helping out at local animal rescue. The ones not lucky enough to have homes and families, deserve our love too. It just feels good to give back to animals, as they make our lives so much better.
